HOME MAINTENANCE FOR SENIORS:
Classes will help seniors become more knowledgeable about their homes and better prepared to carry out needed maintenance and/or make their homes more sustainable. All classes will be held from 11 am to 12:30 pm at Home Repair Resource Center, 2520 Noble Road, Cleveland Heights.
Living Large by Living Small: Downsize Your Home & Upsize Your Life
Wednesday, September 3rd
This session will help you look at options for changing your living space to better fit your current needs. We’ll talk about various housing options; de-cluttering possessions; and preparing your current house for sale, if you decide to move.
Preparing for Winter Emergencies

Are you ready for everything that Old Man Winter can throw at us? We’ll talk about preparing for power outages, extreme cold, and other emergency situations that can arise during the winter months.
Wednesday, October 8th
With rising energy costs, it’s especially important to make your house as efficient as possible. We’ll talk about how to make that happen.
Aging in Place
Wednesday, October 22nd
It’s important for seniors to plan ahead. We’ll talk about modifications that might allow you to remain in your present home, despite the physical and mental changes that can come with aging.
