Contracting Repairs

Wednesday, December 3rd

Learn how to work with contractors. We’ll talk about how to get estimates for home repairs, choose the one that provides the most benefit for the cost, manage the repair process, and make sure the work has been done correctly before releasing your funds.

Dodging Scams

Wednesday, January 14th

Seniors can be “hot targets” for scammers, especially during the holiday season. Come and learn how to protect yourself – and your wallet – from schemes designed to separate you from your money.

Safe at Home

Wednesday, February 18th

Seniors can feel vulnerable in their homes, especially when winter weather isolates you from friends and relatives. We’ll discuss ways to improve home security, ranging from low-cost measures you can implement yourself to the pros and cons of commercial monitoring systems.
